What and who we are

You are welcome at Athelstone Uniting Church and if you are looking for a place to call home, then this may be the address for you. A home (more than a house) is something we value and cherish in Australia. It promotes a sense of belonging and security and encourages the development of relationships and values where people can grow and mature. A home is also where needs are met and people are cared for.

At Athelstone UC we encourage these concepts through a welcoming approach, the nurture of friendships, growth in our understanding and relationship with God and each other through worship, home groups, social activities, and various age specific events, and by being generous of ourselves and our resources and believing everyone can have a go.

These attitudes, we believe, reflect God’s love and welcome of all people, most fully seen and expressed in Jesus. We believe that this is good news to share! We look forward to getting to know you when you next ‘drop in’.
